Stump 2.0

The Stump 2.0 is the modern evolution of a classic Sollife design, brought back to life after longtime Central California team rider Tony Foster asked me to revisit one of his all-time favourite boards. Updated with additional foam through the chest area, refined rails, and modern bottom contours, the result is a fast, lively, and incredibly fun high-performance small-wave board.

Designed to sit between the HP26 Series and the Vitality, the Stump 2.0 delivers effortless speed, quick acceleration, and a loose, responsive feel in everyday beach breaks and playful point waves. It paddles easily, creates speed with minimal effort, and encourages progressive surfing even when the waves aren’t at their best.

Featuring a rounded squash tail, balanced performance rails, and a choice of Snake Rock (SR) or California Rock (CR), every Stump 2.0 is custom-built to suit the individual surfer’s height, weight, ability, and local waves.

Available from 5’8” to 6’4” in poly construction only, with a three-fin thruster setup.

Performance Rocker Options

The Stump 2.0 is available with two proven performance rocker options, allowing you to fine-tune your custom board to suit your local waves and surfing style.

Snake Rock (SR)

A continuous high-performance rocker featuring a deep single-to-double concave. Originally redeveloped with longtime team rider Jake “The Snake” Morrison, the SR delivers exceptional freedom, speed, and control in steep beach breaks, hollow points, and powerful reef waves.

California Rock (CR)

A proven California-inspired rocker featuring a lower entry, flatter centre, and accelerated tail kick. Designed to generate effortless speed through flatter sections while maintaining an explosive response in the pocket, it is ideal for everyday beach breaks, point breaks, and weaker waves.

If your local waves are waist-high to slightly overhead, the Stump 2.0 will quickly become one of the most-used boards in your quiver.
